Description

After claiming a silver medal in each of the three previous Olympic Games dating back to 2000 in Athens, Katherine Grainger was anxious to compete on home soil in what was most likely her last opportunity at gold. After setting an Olympic Record with partner Anna Watkins in the semi-finals of the Double Sculls event during the London 2012 Games, Katherine and Anna finished the job in the finals and became Olympic Champions. As they crossed the finish line, Katherine expressed her obvious exuberance and elation with a wild celebration of joy in response to her long awaited achievement of an Olympic gold medal. Numbered by hand and limited to only 50 units in the edition, this original Day 8 Venue Programme is personally autographed on the inside page featuring Katherine's storied career and pursuit of Olympic Gold at London 2012. Each signed Programme includes the Official Sporting Memorabilia hologram with unique serial number and Online Product Registration Card.
