Description

Arthur Conan Doyle's tremendously popular Sherlock Holmes is a fixture of English literature, celebrated through recreations on stage and on screen. Now you can see the famed detective as never before, recreated by "One Red Shoe" artists Fiona and Neil Osborne as the London 2012 mascot, Wenlock.

Wenlock and Mandeville, the London 2012 mascots, are located at points of interest, iconic settings and Olympic and Paralympic locations all around the capital.

As part of the Mayor of London Presents programme of free cultural events and activities for the 2012 Games, Stroll will take participants through different cityscapes all around the capital. 84 official Olympic and Paralympic Mascot sculptures will guide tourists and Londoners alike.

Each sculpture of Wenlock and Mandeville is around 2m in height and is often individually and colourfully designed, corresponding to their immediate surroundings while capturing an element of London life.

The net proceeds from the sale of this item will go directly to the Mayor's Fund for London, the charity which aims to inspire and improve the life chances of London's most disadvantaged children by ensuring they have the skills and support to succeed. To find out more visit www.mayorsfundforlondon.org.uk
